Yay, my gold bred so now I've got a gold egg - the pair had three red eggs as well but it only let me keep one egg so I kept the gold one. I hope whoever gets the others looks after them. My alt black is nearly hatched! I know a few friends on here do dragon cave so if anyone would like me to try to breed them a gold or alt black egg let me know!

Cat stuff

Jun. 29th, 2007 | 06:06 am

I'm so tired today, I really don't want to go into work. Yesterday I took my cats for their operations (castration) and for having a microchip fitted to each, and also their second lot of injections, because the lady we got them from hadn't had any of this done. They had several tests as well and all came out as fine, which is great news. Now Mickey is even soppier than he was before, and won't leave me alone! I was playing FFIII on the DS yesterday on my bed and Mickey came up and actually shut the DS with his nose and then started nuzzling me for attention! Benji sat on my lap as well which he doesn't normally do for very long. They were a bit sleepy yesterday but seem fine now.
So that was my day off but it doesn't feel like I had a day off because I spent it all keeping an eye on the cats, or worrying about the cats and I had a load of ironing to do as well, so I didn't get anything else I wanted to done. I'm working today and Saturday now as well, and really don't feel like it.
I've hurt my shoulder playing the Wii, it's really seriously hurt now! I was playing baseball and hit the ball really hard and span round, and after that I couldn't even manage the tennis or anything because it hurt so much, and it still hurts to move it this morning. It feels like it's slightly out of its joint somehow! OUCH!!!
PS anyone on here want to give me their Wii code if you have a Wii? I have no friends on it!! And also how do I find my own code? Sorry for being lame! Anyone else got FFIII and want to friend me for that too? Let me know, and post your code if you want to be friends!! Can I send my Mii to people? If so you can all see the one of The Master!

Dear Mr Simm

Jun. 24th, 2007 | 03:39 pm

I want to like you, I so want to like you. I want to wish I could rip off your clothes and do you. I know I should, because I used to fancy you, and I really REALLY fancy The Master, but thus far you have not done it for me. You will never be as sexy as the third Master (who could be?) and the first and fifth Masters were sexier than you. Do try harder, would you? You need to be more sinister. And speaking of the fifth Master, I know he was only the Master for about 10 seconds, but I loved Derek Jacobi in the part. As soon as he opened the fob watch and turned his eyes on the camera, I knew he was the Master, he was believable. I think with you, John, it just still seems like you're playing a part. Maybe you're trying too hard, I'm not sure but you're definitely not sexy enough. Perhaps you should try growing a beard but we both know that with a head that round a beard would look stupid on you; perhaps you should try wearing more elegant clothes just as soon as we can get you out of that prime ministerial suit. I liked the clothes the fourth Master wore, or you could just put back on the outfit you had when you first regenerated from the fifth Master. But it didn't fit you, did it? Because you're not the Master. It was a nice try by the scriptwriters getting you to say and do a few things reminiscent of some of the old Master episodes, just to give a nod for the fans that they know there was a Doctor Who before Christopher Ecclestone (don't even get me STARTED on him) came along, but it all seemed rather forced. Why didn't you have the tissue compression eliminator and use that on people? That would have made you much sexier than a "laser screwdriver" did. The only truly believable Masters for me have been the odd numbered ones (although maybe the zombie one too, I'm not sure) so perhaps you were fated to lose from the start. Please, please scriptwriters, get Derek Jacobi to come back and use the laser screwdriver or something to undo the regeneration and then I think the whole world would be a lot better. It's not like I think Jacobi is a patch on Ainley, but I would have at least believed he was the character I know and love, and I would have been satisfied. John, while you're at it, you really need to work on your eyes: the Master is supposed to have a mesmerising, beautiful gaze. The third Master's steely grey eyes could have penetrated my very soul. You just look a little bit deranged.
O new Master, despite the above I promise I will give you a chance, and I will try to love you as I have loved those Masters before you, but know that you will never replace the third Master in my affections. Having said this I remain your humble servant.
Yours sincerely,

Hi guys, just to let you know we have fallen in love with two cats and are going to have them as of Sunday evening (Ade has Monday off work inset day anyway which is handy). They are brothers Mickey and Benji and are 1 year old. Mickey is a real softy and just wants to be fussed all the time and Benji is more independent but we really love them both and didn't want to split them up as they get on so well and can be company for each other too, have a look at their pictures

Pay as you go motoring tax - petition the PM

Feb. 5th, 2007 | 10:09 pm

*This is not one of those daft petitions made up by bored interneters, which assure that [random number of] votes will resurrect your favourite tv show, create world peace, or rescue Kate from Tom. This is a genuine petition, linked to on the government website, so if you oppose this tax plan this is your chance to stand up and be heard, rather than just complaining about it when it's too late. Please pass this on to anyone you think would be interested *

If you drive a car, please read -

Sarah Kennedy was talking about this proposed car tax scheme on Radio 2. Apparently there is only one month left to register your objection to the 'Pay As You Go' road tax.

The petition is on the 10 Downing St website but they didn't tell anybody about it. Therefore at the time of Sarah's comments only 667,000 people had signed it and 750,000 signatures are required for the goverment to at least take any notice.

Once you've given your details (you don't have to give your full address, just house number and postcode will do), they will send you an email with a link in it. Once you click on that link, you'll have signed the petition.

The government's proposal to introduce road pricing will mean you having to purchase a tracking device for your car and paying a monthly bill to use it. The tracking device will cost about £200 and in a recent study by the BBC, the lowest monthly bill was £28 for a rural florist and £194 for a delivery driver. A non working mother who used the car to take the kids to school paid £86 in one month.

On top of this massive increase in tax, you will be tracked. Somebody will know where you are at all times. They will also know how fast you have been going, so even if you accidentally creep over a speed limit in time you can probably expect a Notice of Intended Prosecution with your monthly bill.

If you are concerned about this Orwellian plan and want to stop the constant bashing of the car driver, please sign the petition on No 10's new website (link below) and pass this on to as many people as possible. Sign up if you value your freedom and democratic rights -

2006 review of the year!

Dec. 22nd, 2006 | 10:31 am

Well, this may be my last entry of the year, and then again it may not, so I thought I'd do a good one. For any of you who have a myspace I am /espeons over there, add me. I must admit I've been posting more there than here because a lot of my IRL friends go on there.

This is it, my end of the year type post extravaganza!

My official new year's resolution is to do a good deed per week, and I'll try to post about it on here.

Other goals and aspirations for the new year include: to write the novel I've been trying to write since 1994, to lose a stone of weight (not a regular stone, that would be too easy to lose: oh look, a stone, whoops, I've lost it. See?), to meet and enslave Keith Caputo for my own perverted wishes (google image search those of you not in the know as to who that is, ie most of my British friends), to get through the auditions for X Factor (I am prepared to sleep with Simon Cowell if necessary), to start playing keyboard properly again, to join an amateur dramatics club, to get a dentist actually near where I live, to get our house looking nice, to get a promotion at work, to get around to writing short stories and try to get them published, to decide on what to do with my hair, to get a pet cat and call it Kittington, to continue being slightly unhinged.

How many of those will I manage to complete? Place your bets now...

This year has been a great year for me, and here are 10 of my highlights.

1. I got married!
2. I got a job I actually like!
3. I got 2 pay rises within 4 months of starting said job!
4. Ade got a job he likes too!
5. We bought a house!
6. My fish had babies!
7. My mum and dad got a dog, Murphy!
8. I discovered Port Salut, the best cheese in the world!
9. I got my own personalised Monopoly set!
10. I did a floristry course

This year has also been the year when I proved myself wrong about dying at 27 - I've outlived all my expectations and now expect to live to a ripe old age.

I think that's enough about how great 2006 was for me - let me know what you think of my post and my goals, etc.

Here's to a great 2007!

stolen from loads of people

Oct. 10th, 2006 | 11:05 pm

The first five people to respond to this post, will get some form of art, by me (mind you it doesn't have to be a sketch or something). It will be about or tailored to those five lucky victims, er...individuals.

This offer does have some restrictions and limitations.

* I make no guarantees that you will agree with what I percieve as art and/or quality.
* What I create will be just for you, though it may include some "found objects," i.e. - a mix CD.
* I am giving myself no deadline on completing this - however, the longer I take, the cooler I'll try to make it. Note, "try."

And last but not least, the greatest catch:

If you sign up, you have to put this in your own journal as well(unless you already have).

I am a non goth

Oct. 10th, 2006 | 12:14 pm

Well last night I took my new husband to an AFI gig we had bought tickets for ages ago and nearly forgot about, but I remembered at the last minute so off we went. It was quite good, better than I expected although from someone who doesn't like most music or loud noises, and is claustrophobic, saying that about a gig is pretty good actually.

Most of the other people there were goths, and there were some punk boys but not that many thank god. Last time I went to a gig, Flogging Molly, it was all punk boys and they took their shirts off and it was gross. It was a heatwave and the venue had no air con, everyone was so wet with sweat, except me, who stood at the back hiding.

I only go to gigs truth be told so Ade has someone to go with, I don't really see the point in them for myself, since if I listen to music, I would just listen to a CD as it is cheaper and you don't get pushed around or have to queue for the toilets. I'd make an exception for McFly though I reckon, or the Wildhearts again if I get chance.

Well anyway I am not a goth so I didn't really fit in. I sort of know a couple of the songs, but I don't actually like them much. Ade loved it though, so I'm pleased he had a good time. There was a tall guy in front of me who kept moving whenever I moved as if he loved being in the way, and also a guy that kept swaying from side to side so if you get one side of his head to see he put his head there, and there was this weird guy headbanging next to me to all the slow songs. Ade stood behind me cuddling me to protect me from that lot! We were right near the back as well but you still get lots of people around you. I'm sure gigs let in more people than they should do.

In other news my knee still hurts and I am NOT going back to the doctor because I don't want him to do any weird "draining my knee" crap to it. It's a lot better, it's just taking longer to heal than I thought it would.

Also my throat hurts

I've started my floristry evening classes now and I am making some really cool looking things. It's really interesting and hopefully I'll go onto the intermediate class afterwards.

Sep. 21st, 2006 | 06:24 am

Well I'm up at 6am, I can't sleep any more because of this pain so I've got up and made a bit of toast with the one bit of bread that was vaguely OK (we thought we were going yesterday so we have no food) so I can take my pain killer. My knee feels bad today, I can't stand or walk on it, and last night I had thought it was improving. Gotta get myself better for Saturday!
My knee looks like a big red apple :/

can anyone help??

Sep. 20th, 2006 | 07:19 am

well today I've woken up with severe pain in one knee - it hurts to touch or move or walk and my knee is red and feels very hot to touch. I don't know what it is but I have to drive home tonight for my wedding, does anyone know about knee pain? I want it to go away, I don't think I have got time to go to the doctors as I'm driving home today
